CSLA Rentals is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to achieve substantial conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What We’ve Done
The CSLA website is built on WordPress, which provides a solid foundation of accessibility best practices. In addition, we’ve implemented custom improvements to ensure the theme and front-end content meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines and audited it using Google’s Lighthouse accessibility tool. As part of this process, we’ve made key updates, including:
- Ensuring proper color contrast across text and backgrounds
- Providing alternative text for all meaningful images
- Correcting heading hierarchy to support screen reader navigation
- Adding keyboard-accessible forms and navigation
- Wrapping content in semantic HTML landmarks (e.g.
<main>,<nav>,<footer>) - Avoiding redundant text in alt attributes
- Ensuring touch targets are large enough for users on mobile and tablet devices
Ongoing Efforts
We understand that accessibility is an ongoing effort. While we believe our site now substantially conforms to WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines, we are committed to reviewing and improving our accessibility practices as technology and guidelines evolve.
