CSLA’s K35s are a flawless late serial example of these prized full-frame primes. Offering the perfect balance of character and performance, these rare lenses have become highly sought after.

Unlike the Canon FD series, which requires TLS to install completely new custom 14-to-16 blade mechanisms to replace the rigid 8-blade stills iris, the original K-35 lenses were built as purpose-made cinema glass and already featured a factory-installed 15-blade iris.

Nevertheless, TLS still made improvements elsewhere, notably TLS’s signature non-linear cam focus system with extended focus throw, and floating elements (with a dual cam system) in the wider focal lengths.
