These vintage Super16 primes are similar in look and feel to their older siblings, the B-Speeds.  They’re sharp and fast yet offer vintage aesthetics wide open with expressive and pleasing flare. Films that utilized these primes include The Squid and The Whale (2005), Half Nelson (2006), Babel (2006) and Moonrise Kingdom (2012).  Pair B-Speeds or MKII Super Speeds to fill out the longer focal lengths.

The angle of view on S16 film is about half the angle of view of 35mm format giving you the following set:

9.5mm Zeiss = 19mm

12mm Zeiss = 24mm

16mm Zeiss = 32mm

25mm Zeiss = 50mm
